! Open House ~~~~ May 18 , 2008 !
10:30-12:00 for ExplorAgua at Alpine Springs, 612 Alpine Ave, Boulder
1:30-3:00 for ExplorLandia at Willow Way, 6481 N. 63rd St, 1 mile N. of Diagonal Highway
Explora Programs offers nature-based learning programs for children. Some of our options offer opportunities for kids and their parents to work together.
Our interest is improving Earth-human relations through meaningful experiences that reveal the mystery, intelligence and wonder of nature. We are aiming at re-weaving the bonds that have caused human culture to think of itself as separate from nature. The damage from this sense of separation is becoming undeniable.
The ExplorAgua program guides us to know water deeply. While immersed in warm water, our boundaries soften to know ourselves as part of the flow of the life. This experience seeds a beautiful sense of belonging.
The ExplorLandia program weaves a thread of celebration with the land and our sensory experiences that link us to it. Developing connection with the earth and recognizing our bodies as part of the earth are keys to the balance and wholeness we seek.

~~ ExplorAgua ~~
magic and tranformation in warm water
individual/ with parents/ after-school groups
ages 7-11
612 Alpine, Boulder
Alpine Springs is a beautiful, safe place to let go and discover new levels of relaxation and creative playfulness in the healing comfort of water that is exactly body-temperature.
Developing a deeply trusting relationship with water is a gateway to connecting with the natural world around us. Learning presence of heart is our key for inviting connection with water and nature.
In the ExplorAqua after-school groups, we build positive relationship with our bodies and with nature by listening, observing and responding. This process builds intuition and inner resources to bring to a stressful world. Programming includes nature hikes, music and crafts.
This program offers an alternative to mood-altering and hyperactivity medications.
Let go… allow…
and enjoy

~~ ExplorLandia ~~
connecting with the Earth and ourselves
children's after-school groups
ages 7-11
at Willow Way, 6481 N. 63rd, Boulder
ExplorLandia is about exploring our connection to the land, and opening ourselves to the deep beauty and wisdom embodied in nature.
Our team teaches the fundamentals of sustainability through:
• Observing the changes in the patterns of nature-in the weather, the plants, the migrations of the birds at Coot Lake down the road.
• Experiencing sensation, and our own body's connection with the aliveness of the land.
• Activities such as building solar ovens, Permaculture gardening, making flower essences.
Diverse programming will include crafts, music, storytelling theater and indoor games in the studio in stormy weather. Our interest is to support a renaissance of earth-human relations.
Small groups means we can be adaptive to individual interests and address the whole person in the learning process. Commitment to communication is reflected in council-way circles for building speaking and listening
skills.
