Plant Communicator Training
The information that is emerging about the intelligence of plants from both science and spiritual tradition is beginning to have a vast transformative-wave effect on the wider culture.
~~ Ride the crest of that wave ~~
This training will:
- Take an overview of the most current literature.
- Delve deep into the generous resource of your own personal bodily experience.
- Cover the territory between knowing about plants, and developing an intimate relationship with your plant guides on a spiritual level.
Gaining an intimate relationship with a plant guide is a stair-stepped process. This process is one of mutual recognition, careful observation, deep sensing, and creating a field of energy between you that becomes a bridge of information exchange. With mutually respectful reciprocity, a full and lasting relationship can be achieved, which is a deeply satisfying experience. And, a big help during these tumultuous times!
Emily Conrad, and her pioneering Continuum Movement work has been an important ingredient in this evolution. Her method has opened vast store-holds of information that can be tapped within the body, previously accessed by Amazonian ayahuasceros and yoga siddhis and the like. Learning to tap the primordial movement akin to an amoeba or an octopus-which is innate to us, but long buried by cultural amnesia- is a ticket to the Web of Life and the intelligence therein. How does an octopus free himself from a locked box? Bodily-knowing, or we could say heart-knowing, is a frequency that plants can relate to! When we become familiar with these territories, the plant spirits recognize a welcoming open door.
This material is equally relevant for gardeners and Permaculturalists; as well as bodyworkers and holistic health practitioners. We will journey from the implausible, to the plausible, to the possible, to the practical.
Zia Parker, MA: Movement Therapy, Wellness Design; CMT has been working in movement and the healing arts for over 30 years. Zia has taught in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas in a wide range of healing arts; including movement education, bodywork, multi-cultural dance/theater and Permaculture (a blend of appropriate technology and sustainable agriculture). She has been a certified Aston-Patterner for over 25 years, and is on the Aston national faculty. Over the last 10 years, she has developed Agua Alma, aquatic bodywork & training which supports physical rehabilitation, personal growth and planetary healing.
In this arena, Zia's experience with knowing about plants, (homesteading in British Columbia, Permaculture in Africa and on the Navaho and Arapaho reservations, and urban PC in Boulder), dovetails nicely with her background as a Movement Therapist, providing a link to bodily-knowing.
