SUMMER 4-DAY COURSE DESCRIPTION
Each participant will have the opportunity to work with a horse under the tutelage of Stanford Addison and his team of trainers.
Within this time-frame, Stan's method may allow the participant to bridle, saddle, and ride the horse. There will be one horse per participant.
This could be the participant's horse, or one of Stan's horses.
Participants will camp on the ranch in teepees and assist with the daily work tasks of running the ranch.
Stanford leads sweatlodges twice or more a week. This is a normal part of the lifestyle of the Addison family.
Participation in this ancient Arapaho purification ceremony is available, and totally optional. There is no fee associated with this ceremony.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITY FOR RISKS AND AGREEMENT FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE HEYTEYNEYTAH PROJECT:
I understand that there are numerous risks associated with participation in training horses, and with horse-related and camping activities. These risks cannot be eliminated, altered or completely controlled.
Some, but not all of the risks include:
Horses and other ranch animals which are involved in some activities are sometimes unpredictable, may step on, kick or bite, may act and respond in
unexpected ways to such things as sounds, movement, unfamiliar objects, persons, other animals, automobiles and weather conditions. Staff, trainers,
trainers-in-training and others, who try to use their best judgement in determining how to react to circumstances may sometimes misjudge.
Weather conditions may change rapidly and cause injury directly (hail, lightning, sunburn, etc.). Equipment used may break, fail or malfunction despite
reasonable maintenance and use. Natural environment and weather in connection with horses or any outdoor activity can create risk of injury from tree
branches, falling, tripping, insect or animal contact, unstable surface conditions, rocks and dirt.
I recognize all the above mentioned risks and I assume responsibility
for these risks and hold Heyteyneytah staff, the Addison family, and any others harmless from any and all liability, claims, or demands which may arise in
connection with my experience on the Addison Ranch and/or the Heyteyneytah project.
